Marcialong, the queen of Granfondos

On January 26th, the 52nd edition of the Marcialonga, the Queen of Italian classic-technique cross-country skiing races, took place in the Fiemme and Fassa Valleys, as per tradition.

Not just a sporting competition, but an expression of culture that engages the entire community. From schoolchildren to families, from merchants to tour operators, to the residents of the two valleys, everyone comes together to experience an event that goes far beyond a simple race. It is a special occasion of sharing, joy, and celebration, which strengthens bonds between people and creates an atmosphere of community, unity, and participation. The winners are Norwegians Emilie Fleten and Andreas Nygaard, who conquer the world's most beloved granfondo, defying adverse weather conditions.

Worth noting is the great success of Marcialonga Story, the revival event that celebrates the past of cross-country skiing, bringing back the equipment and sports clothing of the early 1970s.
