Alex Zanardi, a guest of Gazzetta, talks about the upcoming challenge
Alex Zanardi 's next challenge is for men of steel only : the Long Distance Triathlon , which promises to be one of the most exciting challenges of the upcoming season for this extraordinary champion. During the press conference held in the Montanelli Room at the Milan headquarters of Gazzetta dello Sport, an important collaboration was born between Zanardi and Enervit , made possible by Giorgio Cimurri of Impresa & Sport . More than an impossible challenge, it's a reality within the reach of a man like Alex , an Olympic champion with multiple titles in motorsports, cycling, and marathons. A challenge fueled by passion, courage, a desire to always improve, and a great curiosity: that of someone who doesn't have to prove himself to anyone but can focus on the next goal for the pure pleasure of sport.
"I'm fascinated by this adventure," says Alex Zanardi , "and I'm drawn to the possibility of trying something new, something that goes beyond pure athletic performance. I don't want to set limits on myself, which is why when I was offered the chance to participate in the long-distance world championships, I immediately accepted with enthusiasm.
I'm certainly not starting from scratch in endurance; I've always paid attention to my preparation and nutrition, but I know everything can be improved. To tackle this adventure, which marks my debut in this multi-discipline, I'll need to capitalize on the work I've already done. That's why I joined Enervit, which I believe in, because it's backed by solid research."
