25 years! Silver anniversary for the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike

On Saturday 13 July 2019 the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike celebrated its 25th edition.

The Alta Val Pusteria, between Italy and Austria, hosted over 5,000 athletes from all over Europe, thrilled to pedal through the spectacular landscapes of the Dolomites.

As always, bikers were able to test themselves on two routes: the long one of 113 km with 3,357 meters of elevation gain and the medium one of 60 km with 1,785 meters of elevation gain.

Splendid winners of the longer race were Czech Martin Stosek in 4.27'04” andItalian Mara Fumagalli, the Italian and new reigning European marathon champion, in 5.28'57”. The short course saw successes for Italian Stefano Valdrighi (2.15'39”) and Verona's Chiara Burato (2.44'24”).

President Renato Di Rocco wanted to experience the Südtirol Dolomiti Superbike, sharing the Federation's projects, the growth of the mountain bike movement, and the magical atmosphere of Villabassa.
